Why we avoid video in website

Why we avoid video in slide of website. Give reason.

Videos are often avoided in website sliders or backgrounds due to their impact on website performance and user experience. Specifically they can slow down loading times, increase data consumption for mobile users, and distract from the primary message of the page. These issues can negatively impact SEO, user engagement, and conversion rates.

Slower Load Times:

Videos are larger files than images, requiring more time to load which can frustrate users and increase bounce rates.

Mobile Data Consumption:

Mobile users often have limited data plans, and playing videos on a website can quickly drain their data allowance leading to a negative user experience.

SEO Impact:

Slow loading times can negatively  impact a website’s ranking in search engine results, potentially reducing organic traffic.
